The KidLit Curator is the passion project of children’s book editor and writer, Jenny Bowman.

I love to read, write, and edit children’s books. And for years I have wanted to compile a no-nonsense, easy to navigate website that offers curated lists of children’s book for the reader, the writer, and the teacher or librarian in mind. These lists are hand-curated to include books that have been published in recent years. They are organized by the ways in which we search for books for kids: by subject, theme, format, style, structure, topic, and other various methods.

This website is always changing and growing. I hope you’ll find it useful, and continue to check back as the booklists change.
